Program
The Media Future Week starts Monday April 18th at 9.30 at Beeld en Geluid and ends on Thursday April 21st at 17.00 with drinks. The program consists of inspiring lectures, master classes and high energy co-creation sessions. You can see the program here. Prepare yourself for an intense, inspiring and fun week. Kiss your boy-/girlfriend goodbye, hand over a loving note to your parents because you’ll be travelling through time for the next four days! Don’t be surprised if it is not until after the final presentations on April 21st that you’ll be in touch with the rest of the world again.

Check in
During MFW16 you’ll sleep at ‘Van der Valk Hotel Hilversum de Witte bergen’. If you have not opted for a single room, you will share a hotel room with another participant. When you have someone in mind, during Monday you can register with a roommate at the Institute for Sound & Vision (Beeld en Geluid). Distribution of the keys takes place in the evening at the hotel. We have arranged transport to and from the hotel.

Check out
Thursday, April 21st you should check out between 07.00 and 08.00 am at the hotel. Do this in time, because the busses leave promptly and the program starts at 9:00 am on Thursday, like it does every day. You can leave your luggage at the registration desk in studio 4 for the day. After the final presentations, you find your luggage in the Institute for Sound & Vision where it is stored.

Accessibility Media Park
MFW16 will take place in the Institute for Sound & Vision (The presentations) and Studio 4 (Co-creation) at the Media Park. The Media Park is located directly next to Station Hilversum Media Park and so very well attainable with public transport. Opportunity for parking (You have to pay for parking, we advise you to travel by train) is available next to the Institute of Sound and Vision or at ‘Parkeerdek A’.
There is transportation provided to and from the hotel and the Hilversum Media Park. Every morning there will be two buses, at 8:00 and 8:15. Be on time, we don’t provide for other options.
Don’t forget to bring:
– Your passport or identity card for your check in
– student OV chipkaart
– Laptop + charger;
– Phone + charger;
– If you have photo/video camera, take it with you if you like;
– If you have a graphics tablet (Wacom or similar), take it with you if you like;

Make sure you’ll mark your valuable belongings, it’s going to be crowded.
